Could you tell if someone is lying to you?

Hi, by Just the look into their eyes let me know that they are hiding something from me.

Just because a person can not look you in the eye, that does not mean that they are lying. Some people are shy and or have low self-esteem. This makes it hard for them to look people in the eye when speaking to them. If you know someone well, it is pretty easy to tell when they are lying. If for no other reason than they elaborate less when they are lying. I have a pretty good memory, so I usually catch people when they tell me something different than they did the first time. Some people are just not good at lying. They may think that they are fooling people, but they aren't. Sometimes, simple common sense will tell you that a person is lying.

I am a very good lie detector.The shifting eyes,incoherent speech and the fidgeting fingers all give out the liar.However best he may be.

I've heard that for years about if someone can't look you in the eye they're lying but unfortunately that probably only works for those who are usually honest and not accustomed to telling lies. So, when we're dealing with a habitual liar it will probably be harder to tell unless you know that person's a liar. Annie

It is quite easy to tell unless that person is very good at lying then he or she would not be able to look straight into your eyes when he or she is trying to tell you something that is a lie. Go and give it a try and you would see it for yourself.

Those who are defensive, those who talk loud or talk too much. Those that can't look you in the eye. Those that move their eyes around a lot. Those that stand stiff. Those that can't give you a straight answer or no answer. Those that can't give you a straight yes or no. These are the common things to tell if a person is lying.
