i got yet another freelance job!

United States

When it rains it poors. That is so true. I just did a post a couple of days ago about my freelance job. Well, last night my msn popped up. It was another guy offering me a freelance job writing articles. I just did my first one tonight. It was a test one though. If that article passes, I will be signed up for long term work. I can't wait. I don't know how many articles I can write a day though. I guess it all depends on how much time I have and what the articles are about. If they are about things that I already know about or stuff I have to research. i can't wait to find out if I get the job.

I use getafreelancer. There is a banner at the bottom of my blog if you want to check it out. Well, I just started bidding. One day one of the guys on there contacted me and asked for a sample article. I did it and then they gave me some pointers. I'm pretty much a natural though. I write how I talk. I make it funny and interesting. Well, i try at least. That is the best advice I can give. Let your personality shine thru.

That's good news. Congratulations! It's good that you get jobs there from good people. Some of those that post jobs there may not be trustworthy so providers have to be careful.

Hi...I was just responding to Anj's writing discussion and saw yours listed at the bottom of the page. I have been writing professionally for years...and know that breaking into the business is often the hardest part. The fact that you ar making your way is good to hear. Wishing you every success in the business and with your writing goals. Raia

Thanks for the encouragement. I really want to stay at home this semester. I will graduate in May with 2 bachelor degrees. I want to attend to my studies and not have to worry about working. That's something I have never done before. I actually have written a book. Well, it isn't published or anything. It's kinda a love story. It's based on a relationship in my life that I have been involved in for 10 years. I believe the guy to be my soul mate. Anyway, my friend who is a writer took it and wants to ghost write it. I am really excited about that too.

Well Congrats and good luck. I too have had a bit of luck and passed my 1st interview for another at home position. Have to pass their background check. Should take 3 days(customary for a customer service position when dealing with a persons personal info). Second interview and presto. Again good luck to you.

Where are you interviewing? I have applied for some work at home jobs also. West at home is one. I was approved on there. I have to send them some stuff still though if I want it. I have been busy and haven't gotten it to them yet. I also applied at aspire, i think it was.

Well congrats, you are well on your way. I got two freelance jobs this week as well. It is going pretty good with my business; now I just have to make enough to quit that pesky job.

The paycheck is nice though. To know that it is coming on a certain date and all. I just want to take a leave.

Thanks! I definitely have the 2 jobs. I am writing articles for someone I met on here actually. And I am moderating a blog for a guy off of getafreelancer. And the traffic there is great so far. I do 2 posts per day. And I am still trying to keep up with my own 3 blogs. Now the other guy who wanted me to write articles said that I got the job, but he has never emailed me any more assignments. He told me just a couple of days ago that he would email me some assignments within a couple of hours, but I never received them. That sucks. But I am getting more than enough work now.

Congratulations, I am also trying to do more stuff online to I have learned that my fast typing and quick mind can make lots of money at home. I love my new life working online. I wish that I could make thousands a month I would never care that I am at home again and I could take the pressure off my husband. But the little I do make helps him. It always seems to come on the day he needs gas. Anyway I hope you get the job. In my prayers.

I recently good two jobs as a freelancer. It's pretty decent and one of the is something I absolutely love to write about. I got one of them on getafreelancer and the other I found on monster. I am actually a writer for my full-time job, so now I have loads and loads of writing to do. It's what I love to do, so I might as well try to make the most money I can out of it.
