Our dog patty

i don't see a problem of this at all.. we do it at our table as well.. mind you our dogs are bigger than your dog and there are 3 instead of one.. its always nice for them to have something with you at dinner time.. but if they are jumping all over you and if you have company unless its family or close friends then dont be too worried about it and its not a bad practice.. our cat sits up by the table for her share too..

My dog eats poop. Don't believe I would want him eating at the table with me. I guess I can't say that I would want him eating at the table with me anyway. My dog would want to climb on the table and eat everything he could possible get ahold of. Wouldn't be a good idea at all.

I wanna say thata first off, i am not a dog lover by any means, and i know you must be, so lets not hold our opinions against eachother!! lol. I wouldnt have any animals eating at the table with me, For the simple reason they they are DIRTTY and full of germs, i mean they lick they own @sses!! yuck yuck yuck! then they lick your hands and face and then you put your fingers in your mouth or eyes.. EW EW EW! I had a dog growing up, but i wouldnt have one now. But i also believe in TO EACH THEIR Own, so if you want your doggie at the table,, GIVE ER!

When I had my family, the German Shepherds we had were like part of the family! They ate with us, and slept in the house! They were very well mannered and housebroken! And those dogs were a very valueable part of our family! They protected not only us, they protected the kids, our property, and even the neighbor kids, and the kids that we baby-sat! They would go everywhere with us, to town, grocery shopping, the park, fishing, vacation! The kids just loved them! I personally don't think its bad practice, but I do expect them to follow the same rules as other members of the family do!
