What do you think the Browns will do? What should they do? If one leaves, where are they going and what will we get in return? Will we get draft picks? Who would you take with those draft picks?

If they're smart, they'll keep Anderson. After having trouble finding a decent QB that can actually win, they may have found one but why would get rid of someone that's doing well. Imagine if the Dolphins got rid of Marino after 1 good season or the Cowboys got rid of Troy Aikman after a good season and they end up doing well. Get the picture? I don't care if Quinn comes from Notre Dame or from any college, he needs to get worked in there and get used to playing in series's and if Anderson goes down, you got Quinn. If Quinn goes down to injury or he just sucks and you don't have Anderson or a decent QB, you're in trouble. That's just what I would do but that's me. I would do anything to keep the team together because of the season they had, I would try to keep the chemistry and see if we can build on it even further.

It's nice to hear from another football fan, there aren't many on here. I think it would be nice to have him back, but think about having a team's picks like Miami, Chicago, or Minnesota. Even Atlanta, San Fran, NY Jets, or even Baltimore seem like cities that wouldn't mind having him. Naturally, all of the teams that need a quarterback are going to have high picks because they haven't done as well. On the other hand, the last thing we need is to replace Tim Couch with Kelly Holcomb, or Jeff Garcia with Trent Dilfer, if you know what I mean. GM Phil Savage stated today that he intends to have Anderson back next season. He feels that Derek has earned it. He also said that he is committed to bringing back Jamal Lewis. On top of all that, Chudzinski got a 2 year extension and Savage said the organization is also committed to bringing back Romeo. I think we should make a play for Brian Billick as a defensive coordinator. We have proof of what he and Savage can do together. Pay him near head coach money. The Browns once again have a lot of money to spend, possibly even more than 30 million dollars. I think that this team is headed in the right direction. Any thoughts?

I think they are heading in the right direction and I did hear the same thing about keeping the team together with the players in tact. If they do that, I have no doubt in my mind that the Browns can possibly challenge the AFC North. It just simply comes down to smart moves. I've thought about the pros and cons but I'm hoping they still keep Anderson. As far as more draft picks, it could work but then again it may not. The draft is unpredicatble and you won't really know how well a player will transition into the pros until they get on the field.

This is a tough one because they didn't anticipate Anderson doing this well. In my opinion they have to go with Anderson. I would trade Quinn to a team in great need for a QB who might want to go young. Maybe Atlanta or Miami would give up a nice couple of high draft picks for him.
