It seems alike a new trend in both working people and school kids. Hurrying through or skipping breakfast. I feel it is a very unwise thing to do. Breakfast is the best meal of the day. Someone told -Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper! Brain function decreases if you do not eat breakfast - apparently related to glucose levels. Skipping breakfast decreases concentration throughout the day. Diseases like anemia, bone problems and infections are more common if you skip breakfast. During early and mid-adolescence, disordered eating patterns are very strongly associated with health-compromising behaviours like use of tobacco, alcohol and marijuana. Especillay in case of bachelors, they replace the breakfast with coffee and few puffs(smoking). This is really unhealthy and leads to irregular functionalities of many systems(digestive system, circulatory system). And people trying to lose weight by skipping breakfast snack a lot more and end up gaining weight. So go have a good breakfast EVERYDAY!

I have never been a breakfast person. I always have ccffee and then eat something around 10 am. The older I get the more my body needs to eat 3 good meals. I try to eat a bowl of oatmeal at least 3 or 4 times a week.

I always make sure my kids eat breakfast, but I tend to forget to eat it myself. I usually end up eating around 9 or 10. My son takes medicine every morning that makes him not want to eat much, so I always make sure he eats right after he takes it before it makes him loose his appetite. Poor kid has lost 10 pounds in the last 3 months. My daughter is only 11 months and is a tiny little thing. She is also a bottomless pit when it comes to food. I have to make sure she starts out the day right cause if she is as small as she is eating like she does I would hate to see how tiny she would be without breakfast.
