Who has the Wii?

My fiancee managed to buy one about a year ago so we missed the ruckus that's going on now to obtain one, but it was still tough to find. She ended up ordering it from the Wal-Mart website where they offered the console if you bought seven games along with it. We've had a lot of fun with it, and once nearly lost it when one of our dogs ran by and knocked it over (granted, I was using the classic controller so she tripped). I love how you can (for a price) download old games you never thought you'd get to play again. What are your favorite games? Which games do you think suck hard? :)

I love my Wii. I have had it for over a year now. I was just lucky to be in Target when they had just got them in stock. My favorite game remains Wii Sports. Another favorite is Mario and Sonic, but my little brother has been holding it hostage and playing it with his Wii, so I only get to play when we get together at holidays. Besides Wii Sports another game I play regularly is the DDR for the Wii.

We rented Mario & Sonic, but we didn't like the unresponsiveness of the controls :( Do you have any trouble with it? Sounds like you like it :) Wii Sports is fun. I love to DL old games and relive past glory, too.

I had no problems with the controls. The Wiimote responds fine for me and my little brother and that is really saying something for my little brother because he has cerebral palsy and cannot always get the nunchuck games to work because he forgets to use his right hand. The only games we did not like was the running ones because the computers were always way to fast.

You should definitely try out Mario Strikers Charged and Super Mario Galaxy if you're alone and bored. Galaxy is just fun and interesting, being the successor to Super Mario 64 on the Nintendo 64 and Mario Strikes Charged is full of crazy fun. If you want some party games get Rayman Raving Rabbids (either the original or the sequel) or even Mario Party 8. Controls might get somewhat off in Rayman, but only in a few selected games. Both games are pretty fun and guarantee entertainment for both your friends and family.

Wii Sports just lives in side my Wii at the moment. :) Avoid R*s Wii Table Tennis. Waving ones wiimote has no correlation with the actions on screen. I'd also avoid Monster 4x4 World Circuit. It is like Pound Land (a dollar shop, well two dollar shop) created a video game.

(Hmm, does myLot only support one level of threading? anyway) Have not played NFS (any), so can not compare. But not so much uncontrollable cars, just cheep feeling with limited replay value. I have a review on it on Ciao (& Dooyoo): http://www.ciao.co.uk/Monster_4X4_World_Circuit_Wii__Review_5657610

sounds like Need For Speed Carbon...the cars were just totally uncontrollable. We ended up selling the game on eBay.

My brother has one. He waited in line for three hours to get one. That's crazy in my opinion. He has a couple of games he calls his favorites. The one he plays the most is Madden '08. Don't think he has one yet that he believes sucks rocks.

I've discovered a lot of great games available on the Wii Shop Channel. I've been playing Chew Man Fu a lot lately and it's really addicting. Splatterhouse, The Bonk games and New Adventure Island are also pretty good. Oh, and even though I've only played a little bit of it, I can tell Zack and Wiki is a great game, and it's only $30.

I love the Wii Sports and if you can find it, play Ghost Squad. It's awesome! I played GS all last weekend and I want some more :)
