Do You Think Young Girls Should Participate in Beauty Pageants?

I've been to some beauty pageants and some of the young participants didn't seem to want to be there. It appeared that their mothers were pushing them to do it. If the girls want to participate, that's o.k. If not, they should not be forced. What do you think?

Hello Some one say JonBenet Ramsey!! If a girl wants to compete that should be a decision she needs to discuss with parents. At the ripe old age of 16 or seventeen. Miss Teen Queen. And I don't even care for that.JonBenét Patricia Ramsey (August 6, 1990 – December 26, 1996) was a six-year-old girl known for her participation in beauty pageants in the United States. She was found murdered in the basement of her parents' home in Boulder, Colorado, nearly eight hours after she was reported missing. The case is notable in both its longevity and the media interest it has generated in the United States. After several grand jury hearings the case is still unsolved. The whole subject still makes me sick to my stomach.Hello the girl would be 17 today. Just sad, so young.
