Why do some people have piercings in their private parts?

In being one of those people, it is for the s*x factor. It really does enhance a lot of extra sensitivity down there and can be very fun. Why do we do it, couldn't tell ya....from my experience, i dated a tattoo artist for two years and he finally talked me into getting it done. Hurt like you know what...jumped up and hit him, but after the initial piercing it never hurt again and suprisingly heals very quickly. That is just my opinion on them, but i wouldn't recommend anyone getting one. Very, VERY painful. probably the worst pain i have ever been in besides giving child birth. only lasted a second, but that second was to long. LOL! God bless

Is it true that if women get it done that they sometimes lose feeling or that it numbs it?

No, it actually hightens the senses in that area. When women first get it done, after the initial shock of how painful it is, it actually stops hurting right away and then becomes very warm. Don't know why, but it does. After the healing process which is about 7 days it is everything is intensified in the sensual manner. I never had a problem with numbness or anything like that, so i don't really know. ihaven't heard of others having that problem either. I have always heard good things about it and as well as experienced this myself.

Well, I was brought up in the "old school", and we didn't do much of that, but I don't hold it against this generation!
I feel that this generation has the right to do what they do, and they shouldn't be looked down upon by critics!
I myself wouldn't do it, but they don't offend me , they just have their "fads", just like we had ours when we were young!

Hello dear friend. I think that they are brave enough and fashionable people to have that done down there. It is ok for them so long as those people get very good sense of sensation. lol

Everyone has their taste in what they like and if thats what they want to do so be it.. i have had mine pierced for several years and i enjoy them. i have no probs with them whatsoever.

Haha, good question. I think people who do these kinds of things are somewhat daredevils. Of course, the pain is probably horrible, not to mention the fact that somebody has to do it for you... But still, i don't mind them. ;) Although i'm never getting one...
