if i won the lottery i would use the money to find the best surgeon in the world to give me surgury on my back so that would intail going to the states and paying an upwards of a couple hundred g for this surgury... plus hospital stay etc etc... thats what i wont do if i won

If I won the lottery I would pay old debts then buy us a nice house on a hill somewhere close. Next I would buy my son a good car so he could drive back and forth to work. then on to a shop for some new clothes for me. next I would pay for a years subscription to a near by health club so I could lose some weight.Now for a trip to Ireland to visit the land where my dad's people came from. Now the rest I put in the bank to grow and multiply. lol

I think I'll do the same as you. Paying all my biils, loan, car and so on.
Maybe I'll be planning to go for a very meaningful vacation with my loves one.

I agree. I will do the same when I win a first lottery. I have never done that before. My dad has been to Las Vegas couple times already. I went to a casino in Puerto Rico before.

We don't play either, but here's my list:
1. pay all debts, if any
2. buy new vehicles
3. buy a new house (we're looking to build one anyway in the next 5 yrs I hope)
4. buy a new wardrobe, always wanted to do that.
5. do things for other people( things they need).
6. give to church, that would actually be first.
7. invest
8. go on a fun vacation with the kids and one with just my husband and some friends.

If I have ever won a big lottery, I would get myself a real permanent home to live for the rest of my life. I would move back to where I grew up. I would get a better vehicle. I would make great investments. I never won a lottery before.

The first thing I would do with the money would be to build a home for my family. We want to be homeowners but the city we live in is going through a boom and they are trying to charge $240,000 for a simple 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home which is out of our price range and even if we could afford that payment I wouldn't but a home that size for that price. The second thing I would do would be to give the rest of my family some money to make their lives easier.
