Bad Luck comes in Buckets. Reasons why?

My entire life, I have noticed that dumb luck can bring us good and bad. I have noticed that, out of nowhere, bad luck comes to me just before something good happens in my life. I could be walking down the street and trip and fall. Before I can even dust myself off, someone bumps into me and gets angry with me for being there. Then a bus comes and hits a puddle - dowsing me head to toe before I can even say sorry to the guy that screamed at me. All of this happening in the span of 7 to 10 seconds. I am not sure what causes this - I the type of person who is straight forward in business, always looking at things from the other person's point of view. I help my neighbor and live a good life. What have I done wrong? I ask myself. But, I have also noticed that a day after such "streaks of bad luck", comes something nice. Could be I meet the girl of my dreams, a bonus at work, several new sign-ups in my online business, or unusually high activity in my downline. What have you noticed? Does bad luck or heartache come in packs of 3? All during a week? They say "what goes around comes around", but I don't send "the bad" going around, so it shouldn't come back around to smack me in the face.
