It is pretty common with women to avoid telling their age and some of us will even lie about it...have you ever? Now, to answer my own question - yes, I have lied about my age couple of times for the simple reason that I was complimented on how good I look and did not want to disclose how old I was :)!

NO, I don't lie about my age. I just simply tell them how old I am. There will be times that I look older than my age especially when I'm stressed out or just gotten sick. And there will be times that I look younger than my age. But whatever state I'm in I don't lie about it.

No, I have never lied about my age coz I don’t attach much importance to the age factor or how I look. I look much much older than my 35yrs and people generally think I am around 40. So no point in correcting them (they would eventually think I am lying and reducing my age), arguing with them or justifying my looks by saying that my hair greyed due to genes, my face looks tired just because I am too stressed out most of the time and so on. I just refuse to get dragged into such discussions but yes, if someone does ask my age, I tell them the truth and to hell with whether they believe it or not.

I never found a reason to lie about my age. As for being complimented about how good I look, I thank them, and unless they ask I simply don't reveal my age. But, if someone asks me, I'll tell the truth, what is the point in lieing about one's age. I lost 150 lbs 4 years ago, I was pushing 300, and if someone compliments me, I take it for just that. I love the fact that I am much older than most of the guys I work with and I can hold my own, I'm a wildland firefighter, and proud of it. lol

I have not lied about my age, I just refuse to tell them my age and I ask those people asking me how old do they think I am, and whatever age they come up with, I would just say yes. :D

Hey I am a woman so of course ever so often I would tell a little white lie about my age...back when I was younger I would claim I was much older now that I am older I claim that I am much younger go figure we do the opposite all the time...
