Children and problems with sleeping would have to be the most common difficulty faced by parents. It appears to be universal. Recently a friend asked me for advice on how she cold get her three year old son to sleep without the screaming. they have recently moved to a bigger new house where he now has his own room. Previously he shared with his brother and there was never any problem. Personally I am at a loss. Any suggestions?

My son doesn't have an issue getting off to sleep to badly, he's only 18 months old though. When he doesn't sleep well, I sit with him and read a story. I guess she try letting the child talk to her if he can, he might be scared of the dark or something like that. It's hard for me to suggest without knowing what she has tried, my wifes much better at this than I am. ~Joey

Thanks for your time Joey. I agree that it is a fear factor as well. It is strange though how some children sleep without dramas and others fight it all the way. I guess that's the difference in personalities for you!
