When it comes to drama movies - I really enjoy history and stories of mafia/mafioso movies. Of course we have classic favorites from Robert Deniro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci. I grew up watching The Godfather, all three of them were great of course. Then came Al Pacino's big hit Scarface in 1983 which is still remembered and watchable to this day. Untouchables, Reservoir Dogs, Goodfellas, A Bronx Tale and Bugsy were great as well. The only movie I really was disappointed with was the history trait from "The Gangs Of New York" - cheesy plot and acting. How about you?

Godfather Part II was the greatest movie ever made.
Casino is another one I'd add to the list. Lot of classic moments in that one. They finally convicted the real guys who killed Spilotro & his brother in that cornfield over here. If I remember right his own son turned rat on him, recorded him when he was visiting him in jail and testified against him in court.

I couldn't find a way to respond back to my message to add Casino because I totally forgot to add that movie in there as well. Yes! Casino too was a great classic! Also Pulp Fiction

I just thought of another, not a really a mafia movie but Heat w/ Pacino & DeNiro was also a remarkable movie. Definitely the best modern gunfight in movie history when they are coming out of the bank.
That's another must see for any Pacino/DeNiro fan.

Godfather part one--Hands down!! Marlon Brando's acting was classic. Combined with Pacino and other greats, I never tire of watching it. Next, I like Goodfellas and Bronx tale. Robert DeNiro outdid himself with these movies. Thanks for sharing.

I am a major fan of Scarface; i could watch it a million times and i don't think i'd be bored of it. I also love Casino. Robert De Niro and Al Pacino are both absolutely amazing actors. There are others that i also really enjoyed; all the ones you mentioned i would recommend to anyone who hasn't had the good sense to watch them already! I haven't seen The Gangs Of New York but i have heard mixed reviews of it.
