I'm not a heavy caller on cell phones. I do more texting especially families and friends back home in the Philippines. I use AT&T formerly known as Cingular because it's only 5 cents per text message anywhere. Then there's Cricket Wireless - sweet thing is just going all unlimited calls and texts but only downfall is having to purchase international credits to call or text in other foreign countries. I don't do contracts because I don't like to stick to services for about 2 or 3 years and having to cancel it they charge a fee - it's ridiculous. Are you a prepaid user or not?

Yes I use a prepaid cell..I also have a land line so I don't want an extra bill. I use my cell for when I am traveling or shopping but don't use it on a regular basis.

I use prepaid because it's much easier to stick to a budget with prepaid. I never have to worry about running up a huge phone bill and like you, I'm not a big cell phone user. Plus, if I need the extra minutes, I can always go online and add some more. Just works better for me.
