How many emails did you get?

I am still only new to mylot - but I am getting more and more emails each day from here... :) I am lucky though as I reguallary check my emails - I am back and forth from the computer all day so in that sense I do not fall too far behind in them.

I don't turn my notification off. I can always see my friends discussions on mylot anyway. I don't want emails from mylot to flood my mailbox. without these emails I still reply to my friends discussions whenever I see them

The most I have ever missed on Mylot is a day. If I logged in and had 297 email from Mylot, I would erase them all and start over fresh. That is just too much for me to fuss with. Sometimes I get as much as 61 in the morning and I get a little overwhelmed. I like Mylot enough to keep mysel caught up. But, I know a lot of people took the holidays off.

Okay you guys, you just have to learn how to chat more! (LOL!!!)Then you'll be able to "keep up"!!! chris - you got 900 so you are pretty good! Just joking you guys! I enjoy it here and enjoy chatting (yes I can do it well!) And just had to chat with you all. Keep at it. Mylot is a fun place. I look forward to a fun year here! Sometimes it is slow (the new posts and such) and I don't have much to say (hard to believe, I know!) and other times, I can spend the day here if I let myself! FOr instance right now, I have a hugely messy house after having my 2 little grand daughters (7 y and 22 mo) over for the whole weekend! It was the funnest Time I have had since the last time they spent the weekend! The house is a mess -okay, they did pick up their toys very well, it's just the detail stuff and the kitchen that is a nightmare! But am I cleaning it up? NO!! I am "mylotting"! However, since it is the kitchen and I dont' want ants, I will put myself on a timer here and then go clean it up, but it also makes me do it quicker so I can get back to MyLot as I was not able to be "on" since Thursday! Okay, did an hour last night just before bed. I"ll be back!

I received more than a couple. lol I tried to count them. I gave up. That's why I spent the !st few hours on January 1 making best responses. And I answered more than a couple. I know one thing. The people here on mylot understand. Most of them have gone through the same thing. My lot away. Hope it won't take you a month.

i didnt get many as i hadnt realy been that active on my lot to be honest, but hopefully now im a lot more active on here that will start to change , fingers crossed xxxx

Because of my current situation I haven't gone out much, so I am nearly always sitting at the computer, so my emails are acted on as soon as they come into my box, so I am right on top of them, which is a good thing in a way as I have no backlog! When I went away for two weeks back in October, I came back to over 400 emails! It would have been more if my spam filters weren't working. I'm amazed at just how much is in my spam box! Without it I would be looking at 600 emails in a fortnight! Can you imagine if you didn't have the internet for a month or more, it would take you a month to clear the backlog and emails would still be flooding in whilst you are dealing with the others LOL!

About 6 or 7 that were interesting...but got a few annoying spam mails that leaked through.

I generally get on average about 20 mails each day from mylot. But it also depends on the activity of mine on mylot. I get many comments for my responses. But I have not put notify on for all my friends here.

I didn't count them but I've certainly gotten plenty. I've been here all along but I haven't had as much time online as I normally do so I'm also quite behind. I'm trying to keep up with the current day's e-mails and do at least a day or two from the one's I'm behind on each day till I'm current again; that may take me quite awhile too! Annie

Hello dear chrislotz. I got more than two hundred email notifications today when I opened my email box. It is almost always that many emails a day and I do not think that I will be able to finish responding to all of the new discussions by my friends until become very old discussions some day. Anyway I am trying to catch up with them.

You must have the "notify" button turned on for all of your friends. I have the same thing on mine. I can't even tell you how many emails I have gotten because of it. I still like it better though because I like to help my friends earn money. I haven't been on here since before Christmas either and I'm trying to catch up now.
