New House...No Linen Closets!!

Okay so we recently put a new house in...Its a modular and I dont know why I didnt realize it when we picked it out that there arent any damn Linen closets in here...Sure the bedrooms have closets, but nowhere else...Anyway I need some storage ideas from people! lol...Are there any in home devises and cadgets that are handy to you? Need some info or Im going to have a lack of storage area meltdown!! :)

Thats a toughie. My grandmothers house had the same problem she bought a nice looking storage trunk looked almost like decor. She put all the sheets in that and for towels she bought one of those shelf things that go over the toilet. I have no idea the proper terminology for this stuff. Im kinda duh sometimes. LOL

Thats a good idea about the trunk! Im going to call my mom and see if she can find me one when she is doing her thrift shopping..LOL..She is the queen at finding awesome atiques and deals. And I have one of the over the toilet shelf thingies..lol..your not the only one who is duh on the terminology of household cadgets! :)

Oh Walmart carries about anything anyone would ever need..LOL...Sometimes I hate that store because I go soo much. Especially since we got a supercenter in the town next to us...Now all I need is a Target and I will be set.! I will look though. I have room at the foot of my bed for a trunk and I think it would look nice if I can stick with my decorative theme going on in here..LOL..Not quite sure what the theme is yet..Im just making it up as I go! :) I appreciate the advice though..If you hear of anything else or have anymore ideas feel free to respond some more! :)

I think my grandmother found her trunk somewhere simple like walmart. If your mom cannot find one while she is out and about I would check there. God knows walmart sells everything. She had that trunk for many years in fact she may still have it and if you ever get linen closets you can always use it for different storage purposes ya know.

You know I am one of these strange people who hate built in linen clsets and wardrobes, I look at it once they are built in then thats where they have to stay, I would rather have an empty room and buy portable cupboards and wardrobes that way I can have my room the way I like it and swap it around, you can buy good linen closets so long as you have the room to put them...

Yeah thats part of the problem...I really liked the ste up of the floor plan when I first picked it out, but its a difficult one where everything has to be in just the right place..I dont think I would have room for a portable closet..Im in need of somewhere to store my vaccuum and what not...Any more ideas?

I soo wish I could draw a doodle on here and show eeryone..lol..I thank you for your advice anyway though and my house is small also..lol...we are planning on adding on in the next 5 years already! :) And the add on will have some dang closets!! :)
