We went to see this movie two weekends ago and it was awesome. Of course, I am a huge Tim Burton and Johnny Depp fan. When those two come together the movie is going to be a hit. I do have to say that is was a great story and had phenomenal music, but a few scenes were a bit gory, but well worth sitting through.
I love when movies and musicals are based on things that happened in history, especially those without any known ending. It is great to see how different writers end the same story.

yup i saw it a couple of months back. it wasn't too bad, wasn't scary at all but there were some pretty gruesome parts!

I do not believe it was meant to be a scary film, more of a thriller if anything.

I loved this movie, but I am also a slightly biased Johnny Depp fan and definitely a huge lover of anything Tim Burton.
I liked the gore, but then I'm a bit of an off girl mysself.
I wasn't crazy about the ending, I felt it left a little to be desired. Then again, this is a popular critique of mine. I think I just never want the story to end.

The key to any good story is to leave them wanting more. However, I would like to have known what happened to his daughter.
