Hi there balasri! I think that the oldest letter that I have right now is a birthday card that came with a letter which is from a friend from the Our Lady of Hope Choir, a choir that I belong to when I was 12 and that was in 1994. He gave it to me on my birthday and it is a musical card. I keep it in my memory box.

Bala, this doesn't surprise me at all for I know the kind of person you are. The discussion itself points out to the level of thoughtfulness you possess, which is non-pareil.
I do have one letter of one of my teachers, Sister Emmanuel, inside a greeting card. It's the most special possession. And of course I have a few letters of my best friend and lots of cards.

And dear Mimpi I think that it is appropriate to reiterate now that I am very lucky to have a like minded soul as my friend who can really understand and share the same feelings. That letter from Sister Emmanuel sounds like the holy grail to me.I just can understand how precious is that letter to you.I am so happy that you are one of the persons who can savor and cherish the right things in life.

I think the oldest letters I have are from my oldest daughter when she was doing boot camp in the Army, balasri. She was very homesick, and often felt she could not make it because it was the hardest experience she had to endure up to that point in her life. Of course I encouraged her, and she made it through, but I cherish those letters to this day-and still have all of them.
