In this crazy 2007-2008 college football season, there's no clear National Champion. So, make your case for your team.

Thanks to the OSU/LSU game, there is most likely going to be a split. Personally, I'd rather they either get rid of the BCS or just enhance it with a playoff-like style. It can be the best 8 teams in the Nation for example. You could make a case for USC. I do kind of follow college football and it sucks Ohio State lost but oh well. I think now they just need work and confidence in themselves in the National Title game. I don't know if they have that at all or if layoffs make a difference or not, it's a matter of who came to play. Perhaps if the Big 10 had a tournament or a playoff-like setting and see what happens, it could make a slight difference and make them not feel so rusty. I don't know, just some random thoughts on that.

I think the Big 10 was clearly down this year and not that impressive. To me, Ohio State did not belong in the game. In this crazy year, NO ONE, is a clear #1. So, I look at the loss or losses the team have. Kansas is the most impressive. They have one loss, to Missouri on a neutral field. Missouri ends the season Top 5. They validated their season with the impressive Orange Bowl victory over #3 (BCS ranking) Virginia Tech. Kansas is Mythical National Champions (in my mind). :-)

Oh, and yes, we definitely need a playoff. Makes way, way too much sense. There is NO good reason why not.
