Has anyone gotten the red ring of death on there xbox 360?? I got it and my son freaked out cause he couldn't play it. Thankfully the company is going to fix it free and ship it back but its going to take three to four weeks. That sucks bad.

The best way to avoid complication with the 360 system is to keep it in a cool enviornment and dont knock it over. Everything else is ok. Ummmmm...... By the way microsoft has been having difficulties lately so it may take up to a month to get the system back. well good luck. My gamertag is LUbbMan so just hollar at me on there if you need anything else.

I just got my 360 back yesterday. It took about 2 weeks but none the less i'm glad its back. We try to keep it in a cool place and only play it for a little while then we turn it off to cool down. We had it for almost 2 years before it went out. So i'm not complaining to bad. Its my son who was having a fit cause he couldn't play LOL

I've actually had it happen twice to my system already, butboth times Microsoft repaired it with no cost. In fact, the second time, they actually just replaced my unit with a new one. It does suck, but I guess it's nice to know that Microsoft is at least doing something about it. Hopefully that is the last time that it happens because I hate the process of having to send the unit in and wait for it to get sent back.
