ARE YOU USING YOUR TALENT? Do you know what they are ?

I discovered that I was given the talent of writing. I started out writing poems, than I tried my hand at writing lyrics. I like writing lyrics better. I also found out that I was a good sewer { making clothes }.I could even put my own special touch on my design from a pattern to make it look totally different from the original. I've tried my hand at a lot of things to discover what I was capable of doing.After the discovery process ; I choose one that I was more passion about and that is writing.The point I'm getting at is that I wanted to improve my life and not just live day to day with the scenario of idle time; idle mind.Even though it hasn't paid off yet; I know it will one day.I have that much confidence and motivation in me to make it happen.What are you doing with your life? What are your talents ? Have you soul searched to find out what they are? Share your thoughts.

I can write, draw, fashion styling, fashion design, make-up artistry, wedding planning, acting, singing, and various crafting projects. I don't do any of them for a living, though.

You should pick a few of them and taste the waters in that field. All of those are money making talents.Maybe you need to relocate.Maybe go to New York and check out some acting, fashion design or fashion styling.

Please make sure that you know what you are getting yourself into. I went to the art institute with the intention of wanting to be a graphic designer but ended up getting a rude awakening. The courses are tough and I ended up quitting because it turned out to be a huge disappointment so make sure you research the school and know the courses that you will be taking.

Good for you but don't wait too long too decide on going to school. Go while you're still young. Then you have your career and the rest of your life to enjoy.Thank you for your response.

Hi,
I hope every one is talented the only main part is that some are unknown and some don't get proper nourishment in making into a success. In my case as analyzed by myself my talent comes according the mood prevailing then, some time I like to write but it may be so foolishness, then poems, sings, story, jokes so on later when I look into that I start to laugh some is that I who did that this happen when I painted. Hence it depends according the moods for me.

it is good that you have been able to decide on one that you like and can use the most.
I have the problem of too many interests and not enough time or hands...I would like to decide on just one to pursue farther, but it so hard for me to choose...I think I can be successful in any of them is the main problem!

That's understandable that you can't decide right now. But I'm pretty sure you have maybe found yourself liking one or even two more than the others. Decide which do you feel strongly about, which is your passion.Then go from there. Thank you for wishing me luck on my writing career; I wish you luck also. Thank you for your response.

I write poems, articles, short stories, draw, paint, design t-shirts. Working on trying to get more of my articles and stories published and hope to sell some of my designs. I am at the age where I would love to be doing what I love instead of settling for some boring job.

You have the right frame of mind. No one should be in a job where they are unhappy.T-shirt designing is hot right now.You know how to draw and paint; so that's two plus for you. Good luck. Thank you for your response
