My kids both love string cheese and yogurt as snacks. My 7 year old son likes vanilla yogurt the best, but my 11 month old daughter is partial to plain yogurt. Another thing they both like is raisins. My son like regular ones, but my daughter like the golden ones and dried blueberries and cherries. Some healthy recipes I make for them is to bake chicken with either ranch dressing powder or Italian dressing powder sprinkled on top before baking. Baked homemade French fries are good too. I just chop up some raw potato and spray them with some Pam and bake until tender and then broil them for a munute to help crisp them up.

hi there, one thing i have always made for my kids that they really seem to love is asparagus. fresh not tinned! i chop it into bitesized pieces, sprinkle on a bit of salt, pepper and paprika, a dash of oil and microwave for 2-3minutes and they adore it. i pack some in school lunches for my five yr old, and started my 18mth old on it a few months ago...only problem is i seem to eat it before the kids get to! Its quick, easy, and with little bit of crunch to it.
