I'm looking out of my window at the most beautiful rainbow and I wondered who put the colours there? and is there really a pot of gold at the end of it and if so what does the gold signify?

I am not sure what the pot of gold signifies either! But I too love looking at the rainbows when you can catch them out. It is the most beautiful thing to see. Here is a pic of my rainbow I saw last year, thought I would be nice to share it with you all.

Ever heard the legend of the man hunting for the pot of gold?
Everytime he came close, the rainbow moved further away. Until one day, when he finally found the gold, he wasted his whole life hunting for it and he had lost everyhing in the process. He could never enjoy it.
Sad story...

It's God who have created this universe, everything is designed, developed and executed by the GOD only.
And the Gold signifies that there is a "MAGIC in the Colours" which is one of the wonderful creation of GOD & without the colours there is No value for the Gold...

Hey! That`s a great discussion! My name is Ashley Leigh. I am fairly new to MyLot and have met a lot of nice people already! I was wondering if I could add you to *My Buddies*. That way, when you post new discussions I can reply to them and share my opinions. I hope that`s okay. Please let me know. I can also help you make more money on MyLot. Also, if you have MySpace, I`m on there everyday. Mine is www.myspace.com/skittlez353. MyLot is a really great way to make some extra money. You just have to be devoted. That`s how I see it. I`m a stay-at-home job so I just think of this as my way of making extra diaper money and it helps. I hope I can reply to more of your discussions though, please let me know if I can add you. xO` [ASHLEY]

God put that there. You can read in his word Genesis 9:13
I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
Genesis 9:12-14 (in Context) Genesis 9 (Whole Chapter)
Genesis 9:14
And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
Genesis 9:13-15 (in Context) Genesis 9 (Whole Chapter)
Genesis 9:16
And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
Genesis 9:15-17 (in Context) Genesis 9 (Whole Chapter)

God is the creator of all things good and beautiful so I would have to say God created rainbows.
Legend tells us the wee Irish folk called leprechauns make fairy shoes for a living. They are said to stash their gold in a pot at the end of a rainbow. The best way to find a leprechaun is to follow the tap of a shoemaker’s hammer. If you catch him, he must take you to his treasure if you can keep him in sight. If the leprechaun can trick you into looking away, he will vanish and so will hopes for finding the leprechaun’s treasure.
