Did You Know That the Swatstika originated from Hindu Religion?

It is also believed that the swatskika was literally a blue print for a fort called Su Vatsu, which can be corroborated. And breaking down the meaning of the word, the word swatstika comes from Sanskrit, and it means good habitation. The word swatsu means good. The break down is just amazing, because due to certain things in history, this symboy has been feared as something bad. If you look at it in a positive way, people who use this symbol to represent themselves or their life are using it for good in thier way.

I didnt know it directly originated from Hinduism, but I was told once that there is a very popular Hindu symbol that looks very similar. Very informative, thanks!

if you look a little deeper into the swatstika symbol you will find that it was a religous symbol used by the ancient egyptians. the center represents horous while the corners are the four corners of the earth.
