Money Problem, Big Time...

Okay, this is kinda messed up, but my hubby and i have a problem, we're screwed for the moment, we have no resources left to tap into and i don't know what we're going to do... See, thing is that we're moving, we spent every last penny we have moving our stuff, and still need another 300 to rent a truck big enough to get the last of the very very necessary things that we own. I would personally just say screw it, and leave it behind, if we didn't need all of it, it's not that it's material possessions that are in some sentimental way important to us, it's stuff that we need to get by, or stuff that would make life a little cheaper getting by especially in the beginning... So here's the thing, we need 300 dollars by tomorrow night, and no way to get it, that i can think of, without asking some of the most important people in my life to lend it to me, which though it rips out my heart, I've unfortunately already just done... So, if anyone has any ideas to get some money in less than 30 hours, please post it here, you would be a big life saver to my hubby and i, and i would forever be in your debt... frig i hate stuff like this... Yours Truly... Ash

You don't know how badly I hate to hear what you are going through! I am with my daughter now and she is as strong and and tough spirited as you. Right now she is faced with losing her vehicle and her house. Today she stayed home for the morning trying to contact a lawyer and a realtor, after calling her supervisor to let her know what she was going to be doing. She went in to work at noon only to be called into the office at 1:00 to be told that she would be relieved of her job the end of this month. All I am able to do is help her with past due utilities. Ash, I don't know why things like this are happening all around us; but it has been 22 hours since you posted this, so it is my fondest hope that you were able to get the money together somehow and relocate safely. I am looking forward to your next email. With Love ~Donna

hey hun, honestly i don't know why this is going on all around us either, i don't know one single person who is in a good way with their finances this month, even people who didn't celebrate Christmas who normally do. it really bothers me to see this going on, but i know there's some bigger picture brewing behind us and we'll find out soon enough what it is... i have faith that everything will be fine... i was able to get some money together, not sure if it'll be enough to get the rest of the move done, but i know it'll be enough for at least part of it. how have you been doing hun? i'm sorry to hear about your daughter's circumstances as well... it's hard these days, I'll be sending out a plea for everyone including her tonight, and as always, you. how are you feeling? doing well with things? we should find an easier way to contact each other more often, i think about you a lot just get frustrated with MyLot very very easily and end up getting up and walking away when that happens.

Things with me are okay. Don't worry about that. I know that your stress level is over the roof (you know, the one that you don't have over your head right now). You are one of the sweetest young women I have ever met and I know you are that way in person also. Just keep being you and surely the good will come to you. For as bad as things are with my daughter (and they are really bad), we were sitting in my bedroom talking today. She was on the computer, I was laying on the bed (a single sized bed), and my granddog (an American Bulldog weighing 113 pounds) was with me on the bed). Lizzie (my daughter got up and came over to give me a kiss and to pat Bruno's head. He gave her a kiss and she told him, "I guess I really shouldn't complain, there are a lot of other people who have it a lot worse off then we do". I wanted to cry for her. I just wish our President was out of office, this damned war was over, the gas prices would come down, the housing prices would get back to normal, and the job market would open up again! Am I asking for too much? ~Donna

I am sorry to hear that you need the money and I am also sorry that I don't know an answer for your problem. Do you have a car? Isn't it possible to take stuff in your car over to the new house and drive a couple of times? It will cost a lot less then 300 dollars. Maybe you have friends who can help you move the stuff over? Good luck I hope you work it out

thanks, i'm not looking for sympathy hun, but thanks anyway... the thing is that we've been moving with our truck, it's just a half ton but it's been doing us good, thing is, it costs well over 300 to go back and forth 3 times, and if we were to use the truck it would cost us about 800 more, which we don't have. and friends, in this city, don't care about their friends, only what they can get out of the deal, honestly i never leave my house, well i do but not on a friendship basis unless i'm helping them, funny how you can help someone time and time again, but when you need help their never there.
