Can you believe LSU won a second National Championship? This is the second one in five years! I think they deserved it and played a great game. Les Miles is a remarkable and humble man! I think he has showed that you can't push him around with rumors either. He is honest and I'm happy for him and the team. Geaux Tigers! Your thoughts on the game?

I only watched the first half of the game. LSU played a great game. I think the best team actually won last night. I really like Les Miles,I was hoping he would be Michigan's next coach but I respect him for honoring his contract to LSU.

lighting, I think it was more the statement that ESPN made that morning that he was "heading to Michigan" that got him so riled up. He is a man of honesty and at that point he hadn't even talked to them. I'm glad we get to keep him! I think we will have another awesome couple of years with him!

Ambie--that is so classless! I agree with you. Money talks to most of these guys. We learned that quickly with Nick Saban and his lies. He is another one that can't be trusted.

Yes, finally someone honored a contract! I thought the West Virginia coach was classless. Not because he left for another job, but because he took the job and left BEFORE their bowl game!

He was and his youth prevailed. When I heard they had paired up a young guy with a much older guy, I knew Ohio would win that one! That was a great competition with the money going to a great cause--no matter what school won!

It wasn't even a game! I was extremely upset with how all of the BCS games turned out. I think it was a poor selection of teams.

lilmister--I'd love to see a playoff system go into effect for the Championship games. We would have more football games too :)

I honestly didn't watch much of it, but I am glad LSU won because Les Miles used to coach in Oklahoma and I liked him. I did catch part of the press conference after the game, and that had to be my favorite part. It was hilarious when he (Les Miles) was all serious, then was like, excuse me, and then let out a great big shout. I like it when people express their excitement, and don't try to play it cool.

We have had billboards here in Baton Rouge that say "Les is More". He is awesome!

I get what you're saying about showing your excitement, but I thought that was just really cheesy the way he did it. Too bad there isn't a playoff because now we have a 2 loss national champion, when there are plenty of other two loss teams (e.g., USC, Georgia, etc.) that can make a strong case. Not to mention the only 1-loss team, that won its bowl (over the #3 BCS team). . .Kansas. There's your Mythical National Champion.

LSU had a nice season and was a clear cut better team than Ohio St. Too many playmakers and too much athleticism on both sides of the ball. We need a playoff though. There a a handful of teams every season that deserve a chance to be in a tournament to see who is the best. Those games would be very exciting and make college football even more popular than it already is.

I agree! Every team has a bad day/bad game sometimes. A playoff would present the best teams better overall.
