Does anyone have any travel tips for Las Vegas? Here is a couple I have come up with. One tip I would give you is to time all of the free shows so that you can just walk from one to the next at night. Start with the Sirens of TI because they're only every 1 1/2 hours. Then go to the Volcano at the Mirage, then the fountains of Bellagio. You can hit them just perfect if you do them in this order with no waiting in between. Next to save your legs buy a pass on the Deuce and ride it all day for $5.00 (24 hour pass). It's easier to get around than the trolley or the monorail, plus it is cheaper. What else can you think of?

Arrive at night. The lights are spectacular and that will really set the scene for a magical visit. Wear a fannypack as carrying around coin buckets for the slots and a purse can be a hassle. Also watch out for purse snatchers and pick pockets. Just be mindful of your surroundings and you'll be safe. Ask the hotel if they have a free coupon book. Many do and the coupons in them are great. I once ate on $6.00 per day useing coupons and that was for champaigne brunches and elaborate buffet dinners. That was 20 + years ago but you get the idea, the coupon books are worth asking for. If your Hotel has a shuttle bus ask for a schedule. You may be able to use the shuttle and your feet as your only transportation while there. I didn't like paying the taxi's so I just shuttled it.
