To say that I like my job- I can not really tell you. The reason why I cannot tell you this is for the simple fact that I just started my job. In starting my job, I have been exposed to so many things that previously, I was unaware of. I do believe, however, that having a job is quite important in doing well in that same job.

I love my job, but some people don't count it as a job. I am a full-time mum at the moment. I love having this as my job because its very rewarding and enjoyable to do. I don't mind not having a proper break, because its fun to look after my son. When i have had my child expected in april, i am thinking about getting a part time job of only a few hours a day because of looking after the kids but even that will help us afford everything we need. I know being a full-time mum doesn't pay, but in my opinion its far more rewarding and fun than any other job i could get. ~Joeys wife

Wait this is actually joey not my wife now. So you saying that jobs pay? well that maybe true, although if you are the owner then that isn't pay. It's actually "earning" and your doing the job to get money but you don't pay yourself. So this isn't a job either? Really a "job" is anything that needs doing, you saying "working" that's the difference for myself. ~Joey

actually all business owners i know do pay themselves.. tommy hilfiger for example (not that i know him) pays himself a nice 20.57 million US$ a year to run his own business.. and collects earnings on top of that.. being a mom is a not a job its a life choice.. you dont consider it babysitting when you watch your own children do you? its parenthood not a job..

i agree its a 'job' in the sense that you have to do it and it takes effort and tires you out etc.. but a job pays money and has bosses and you can lose that job and have to get a new one etc.. there are jobs harder than parenting in this world.. some are even more time consuming.. and parenting gets easier as they get older.. especially when theyre off on their own being all grown up or whatever.. so i guess its work to be a parent but not a job.. *shrug* im not knocking stay at home moms though :) i like that my wife gets to stay at home and raise our daughter also

I do like my job. I'm a closing coordinator at a real estate office. I coordinate with buyers, sellers, cooperating agents, surveyors, home inspectors, termite inspectors, lenders, appraisers, title agents, etc to make sure that a contract closes smoothly. I like talking to different people and helping the closing stay organized. I also have my real estate license. I have flexible hours which allowe me to go to school. Our office is pretty laid back. I'm going to me moving though, and I'm really nervous about finding a new job that I will like. I've had some pretty crappy jobs in the past.

I'm worried I'm going to have to take a job for less money. I will do what it takes but it's still scary. My mom says I should wait tables but I have no waitressing experience and I'm afraid that being a waitress in the small town I won't make enough money. Thankfully my car is just about paid for so that will be one less bill to worry about.

ya that doesnt scream huge income but if it gets you through the month its better than nothing.. my mom always says almost any job pays better than welfare.. its been true in any job ive ever had.. i also could not budget my life on one pay a month either hehe i dont even like bi weekly! i get paid weekly and that works well for me hehe

There are some days I wish that's all I did do! Most of our stuff is pretty complicated and it involves working with banks/brokers and doing research on tax guidlines. I can spend the better part of a week on some returns. Then there's my regular work - financial statement audits, planning and forcasting. Beleive me, it's hard to get bored with this stuff, it's something different every day. But, we all have our preferences. Otherwise we'd all be trying to get the same jobs :)

I like my job right now as being a mom ;) it's the best job that i've ever had. and as you know i have had quite a few jobs, even since i met you. I get bored of those min wage monkies could do it jobs. . I dont know what my true calling is other then being a mom, but i hope one day to become a ultra sound tech, and i can look at unborn babes all day long. That'd be a good job, and it pays well too. But we can't live in a big city because of language barriers. Lol. i've talked to the ultra sounds techs in stevenson about becoming one, and there is a large demand for it right now apparently. It'll be a while before i can go to school though!

Yea i know that its not all looking at babies. I just wouldnt wanna do the old man testies, but i guess that would be part of the job, and it pays well enough that it would be worth it. I think its only 2-3 years of school as well. Which is fairly quick.

You are absolutely correct. It is very difficult to find a job that you like 100%. there are shortcoming sin any job. similarly I am not 100% satuisfied with it. I only like to be in IT and I am in it. But there are many problems taht I am facing here. May be i will try to search for another job very soon.

i cant say i like my job 100% there are things i would change if i could.. im actually working on changing things with my job with my union and joint health and safety reps at work.. driving a forklift is dangerous if you arent careful at all times and theres quite a few people at work who dont seem to think they will get hurt by one.. anywho yah i always say i love my job just not where i work :) being a forklift driver is great but i work with a lot of people who make it stressful for reasons that could be less frequent for sure

the best way to find a job you'll love is to find out what you love first.. things you do out of habit sometimes without even knowing.. i love playing with nunmbers and organizing things in order.. for example all my video games on the shelf are in alphabetical order.. i also like construction and vehicles you'd see tonka produce (big equipment type vehicles like cranes plows forklifts etc) so i found a job that includes all that stuff by driving a fork lift i get to organize things by part number etc keep count of various lines running and what they need to have or have taken away etc and also it comes with lots of fringe benefits like if i wanna have a smoke i can just drive out back and have one where as people working in the building have to wait til break time hehe

I love my job. I'm in sales, and I get to do what I love...talk and meet new people. I'm a firm believer in not doing a job just to do it. I have to like it. We all work to pay expenses to live day to day, but I don't believe in going a job everyday that you hate to pay your bills. Nothing worse than waking up every day saying " I don't want to go to work" or " I hate my job". Those people annoy me. And me being the blunt person I am, tells them to leave and find something they like. People give up too easily and work killing themselves doing something they think sucks. Forget that! It has been proven that if you like your job you will perform better, which in turn can lead to raises or other benefits that company may offer. And if nothing else, you get a chance to expand that position and maybe get hired elsewhere that will pay you more based on your experience and quality of work from the previous employer. Heck, depending on what the job is, you could probably turn it into a career and start your own business. You just never know.

as much as i love my job even i sometimes say i dont wanna go to work haha but i hitch hike to work so sometimes it takes some extra motivation to get myself outta bed and out on that road especially in the winter! but i do it day after day cuz i like providing for my family and i like the job.. otherwise id get a different job closer to home i guess so i wouldnt have to hitch hike :D i agree with you though i have a hard time listening to people complain about their job day after day.. its like why bother coming.. go elsewhere.. we wont miss your complaining i assure you! :D haha

My last job was painting roofs with a guy named 'Bub'. He only hired girls and painted across his truck it said 'Bub's Babes'... hehehe. I enjoyed being a 'babe' and climbing around on high and precarious roof tops and then coming home covered in paint - people loved saying to any of us girls "Did you get any on the roof?" But Bub really liked getting started early and I am not a 'morning person', and besides that having a 'job' seriously interferes with the rest of my life. I quit after about a year.

I actually love to paint, but I prefer to paint my own house, inside or out, where I can choose the colors I want (I am a colorholic!) But I don't like painting roofs... it's very dangerous and my life is worth more to me than the measly hourly wage I was making. And yes, I had to wear long sleeves and long pants and a hat to keep the sun from burning up my skin, yeah, it was rough, I'm glad I'm not doing it anymore... although the regular predictable income was quite nice.

Finding a good job is really difficult, I'm puzzle for finding a job I could enjoy actually. Now, I'm a white-collar in office. At first, I knew a little of the job, so I enjoyed it. Then I feel tired for the job, and it is as dry as a chip, after several years. so I am inappeasable, perhaps so do others.

I usually like my job. I do have days where I would rather stay home, of course, but 80%-90% of the time it is pretty cool. I work in theater, so every day is something a bit different, and you meet all sorts of people. Granted the hours can be long and late, and the pay isn't great, but I work with some really cool people and get to build neat stuff and help come up with solutions some pretty crazy creative problems; not bad overall.

Yes, I quite agree with your idea.most of people who always despond his current jobs, because they don't like it so much or the job is not the sort of one this expected.i should say that--nowadays,people are not able to get a job who can both get plenty of money and fun . I have done a lot of parttime jobs before (Because i am still a student now,i have not got a current job until now.LoL),some of jobs i really do not like it so much.i done it just for its higher payment.

Well shame on me. I just read all the posts and everyone is so happy with their job. Apparently I went wrong with mine. I did at one point love my job. I'm a new home sales rep in California. I used to be super busy with people walking through my doors. I still love the customer service aspect of my job, but now with this incredibly challenging market, there are so few customers which make it soooooo boring! At times I believe my brain is going to mush! It pays well though and it is all I've ever done so I don't know what else to do. However, everyday I look for jobs online so I can try something new. I feel like this is the time in my life to try something new. But what is the question..
