Last night I ordered a pizza from Dominios. It was a really nice new ciabatta base, but it was so huge I only managed about two slices before I wrapped it up and put it in the fridge. I took a bite of a piece today and in it was a 6 inch long black hair. I nearly threw up right there! I threw the rest of the pizza away and have been feeling sick all day. I rang Dominos to complain and they apologised and said they would give me a free large pizza and asked me if I would like to order it right then. I said that I wasn't really in the mood for pizza right then! This isn't the first time this has happened actually. A long time ago I was eating in Pizza Express and there was a hair in my food. They suggested it might have been mine! I was blonde at the time and it was a black hair for goodness' sake! They didn't even offer any money off the bill. I haven't eaten there since. It makes me feel so sick! Pizza is my favourite food, but the thought of eating anything right now is making me queasy, let alone pizza!

That sucks when it happens, don't remember such stuff happen when going to my favorite pizzeria, Amigo. If that would happen to me id get pissed but still eat the pizza, but i would complain about it. laughed when reading that they suggested that it was your hair in the pizza, yea right that you just suddenly had black hair just so that it would match the hair i the pizza. Feels bad they didn't offer anything for the hair thing. I wouldnt either gone their again.

Yea, i totaly agre with you on that. Its lame that they lashed out on you when they made the screwup. I think you are doing a good choise not going ther again. Its totaly ridicilous, you do not treat customers like crap if you want to survive as a business.

I found hair in pizza, hamburgers, fish sammies and even in french fries. Complaining usually gets you nothing more than a replacement food item - or they ask how you know it isn't YOUR hair in the food. As overly dramatic as it might seem, contacting your local health department might help. If they get complaints about an establishment and there are more than a couple about hair or other "things" in food, they will investigate and do an on site check.

And people wonder why I don't eat out a lot. The cook staff talk while cooking your food, so their spit gets on it. Then the waiter/waitress brings it out and repeats the order and spits on your food while talking. I don't like eating other peoples' spit, so I rarely, if ever eat out.
