Sharing A new Year's Prayer

I read this New Year's Prayer and I wanted to share this to all mylotters.
" Father, we surrender to you this past year and give it up to YOu. We give You our failures, our regrets and our dissapiontments, for we have no more use of them. Make us now a new people, forgetting what lies behind and pressing on toward that which lies ahead of us.
We give You all our hopes and dreams for the future. Purify them by Your spirit so that our wills shall truly reflect Your will for us.
As we stand in the threshold of another year, encourage us by our successes of the past, challenge us by the power of Your word, and guide us by the presence of Your Holy Spirit."
With confidence in God, we can look back and look ahead, and walk boldly into a new year. David McCasland

Thank you so much for sharing this prayer with us and the words are so true it is beautiful and I hope you don't mind but I wrote it down so I can say it again. I hope your year ahead is a blessed one and successful. Happy new Year!

Im glad that you have been healed my friend. Its was not an accident nor coincidnec that this happened to your life.
Everything happens for a reason.
I would like to share this line:
"In hindsight, I have learned how God’s comfort in suffering can build bridges to those in pain. Paul made this point clear: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God” (2 Cor. 1:3-4)."
Are you bringing your emotional pain to God? His spiritual healing can help you to provide comfort to others, just as through Christ my friend comforted me. — Dennis Fisher

This prayer says it all. Let the Father take hold of all. He knows what is best for us. If we put ourselves in his hands and let go things work out. Thanks for putting this hear. It is a prayer that means a lot.

This is a very nice prayer. Its really good if we put everything in God's hands, surrendering to Him our failures, shortcomings and problems and asking for guidance, protection and more blessings.

This is such a wonderful prayer, it's nice to surrender everything to HIM. He alone knows what is best for all of us. There are a lot of changes last year, lost someone, tragic moments that helped me to be strong, strong for myself and my family and friends. Reading this prayer is just lifted my soul today and made me realize that God had never left me. He was there with me all the way...

I liked that and I thought that more people should read that. You know every year we are doing something, going somewhere, building and refining and we should all take a moment to acknowlege the one who gave us the ability to do so. Amen to that prayer
