what would I smell or see? If you opened my back door you would be standing in my kitchen smelling veggie beef soup that I had for dinner. I like it when my kitchen smells of something yummy that I have just got to enjoy....so if I opened your back door what would I smell or see?

if you opened our back door you probably would see our dining table, a huge cabinet, an empty gasoline tank ^__^;;, dirty pile of clothes, another door that goes straight to a water pump, and probably some people watching tv in the living room. ^__^;; you probably wouldn't smell anything because our house is like kinda open and air freely goes in and out.

You would see a case of energy drinks and a case of bottled water on both sides of the door on the floor. You would also see a huge dining room set my mother-in-law gave to me several years ago. Most likely you would see the cat waiting for you to come inside and if the dog was awake, he also would greet you. You probably wouldn't smell any good scents from cooking since I don't cook any longer. Just two of us at home now and it's just as easy to go out every night. Part of my problem with cooking also is I can't taste or smell any longer. Had an accident 4 years ago that took away both. It's very hard to judge certain amounts to go into a dish if a recipe was done by tasting. I can't smell if the house is all yummy smelling from something I am cooking. Does take away a good part of the reason why I don't want to cook. The incentive is gone!

I don't blame you. I can't imagine not being able to smell or taste. And I don't like to cook just for myself either. I'd rather not mess up the kitchen! LOL...when I do make something I make big batches and freeze them so all I have to do is defrost and heat!

I don't have a back door! Nope, my apartment has a front door, a window, and a patio door. The patio door is so close to the front door, that either way you come in, you see the living room. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to open that patio door since I moved in!

If you got over our high fence in the back garden and opened our back door you would probably smell takeway ham pizza that we had for supper. There is still some left over and we are going to have for dinner tomorrow with something else. If you opened it a few weeks ago you would have smelled homemade cookies and sponge cakes, because we made loads of them for christmas. ~Joeys wife
