Do you feel bothering if others have the same avatar as well as yours?

I have many avatars to choose from. Not only that, I can easily start making mine even more "unique". It is a bit annoying when someone steals the avatar without telling you (or if they aren't doing it for "flattering" reasons).

I don't mind it at all, although if someone was to use my current one I'd wonder why. I'd probably be annoyed with that, but I generally don't mind others having the same and it's really down to them aslong as they don't steal someones avatar that they designed. (not that i'm saying it happens here) elsewhere I know some go and do it and it causes nothing but a bunch of mess. ~Joey

No. I love my avatar.I wouldn't change it. If someone has the same avatar, they don't have my same username.I look at it like a great dress, there are women out there that bought the same dress I did . all this means is that they have the same good taste I do.

If others would have the same avatar as mine i don't mind except if it's a personal one which i made myself than it would upset me but in other cases it means they like the same thing as me.

Yes, I think I will change my avatar if I find that there are others that have the same like mine. Im not even sure if my avatar is unique.

Well, my Avatar on here is one of myself. It was taken almost 2 yrs. ago though, and maybe I should update it sometime, but this is me, and I am Glad to show off who I am. I have been like others on here, and changed mine around from time to time, but this is the one I prefer, and people know my discussions by it, so this is the one I continue to stay with.

I like my avatar to be the unique one here, so I chose one from the photos which I had snatched earlier when I visited a hill resort. I don’t think who else will have the same avatar as mine, for this is my own “masterpiece” lol. I believe mine is rather monotonous and will not interest anyone here. If I were to have the same avatar as someone I will then change it to a more humdrum one straight away lol.

The avatar I use came from a free avatar site so I suppose there is a chance one could choose it and I would feel that they have every right to do so. I don't post that often, so I don't think I would change it if someone decide to use it. Now if I make a drawing myself, or take a photo of myself, or especially if I use a photo of one of my young sons or daughters and someone decide to use it, I would try filing a formal complaint. It would be at least copyright infringement. And though it seems to be a common internet tradition with some that any picture or work found on the internet can be taken and used, to use someone else's personal avatar deliberately would seem to me very despicable. Unless, of course, it is by consensus to designate a kind of club and the individuals have the permission of the one who created the avatar. But that would be the only exception - to my way of thinking anyway ...

I don't actually mind it. Even if we have the same avtar, our names and user ranking star will clearly differentiate us!

At first I thought I had the most cute sweet baby avatar.Then I found out there are two members who have the same like mine.It didn't bother me a bit and I had it since last year.But today, I wanted to have a new look since it's a new year.From being a baby I transformed into a godess fairy.I like it!!!

Hi, i dont think it will bother me if i have seen someone using avatas as mine. maybe i will just change it. there's a lot of avatar to be choose from. but my avatar now i dont think anyone will have same avatar as this. ^_^

I like to have a unique avatar and would change it if someone had the same. I tend to notice and be more familiar with a person's avatar more than their user name as well so I like ones that you see and just know who they are right away like your which is so cute!

Yes, i would change my avatar if i saw that someone else had the same one. I think being differentis the way to go. People like to see difference in others. Just my opinion........................ PS

I feel bothered if any one uses my avatar. once it happened that another member had same avatar like me. few of my friends told me that and i told that person that's its bothering me. he changed that soon. your son is cute :)

i would be bothered if i saw someone with the same avatar as me. i would definitely change my own avatar even if there's a possibility that i was the one who first use it and since i cannot tell that other member to change his/her avatar. .

yeap, i will change to a new one. i would like to think that the avatar as your 'face' on myLot. even in real life, it would be funny if we have the same face as another person.... unless you're identical twins (:D but with myLot's population of soooooo, sooooo many people, most probably i wont even know if someone does have the avatar as mine... do tell me if you come across one... peace!

Hello dear youless. I think that it is ok for users to share the same avatar. I think that it shows that this cute puppy is shared and enjoyed and appreciated by many people, which is a good thing. You know, when there is something good and wonderful, it is supposed to be shared by all, who love it. So it is ok to me if I can always see the same avatar. By the way, this avatar of yours with your loved son in it is really a very good and unique one. Thanks for sharing.

Like you, I don't think anyone will have the same Avatar as mine. My avatar is picture of me. I'd probably laugh if I saw it and then ask the person why in the heck they wanted to use my picture as their avatar! :)

I use my face as an avatar so that no one would use it except me. lol. it doesn't matter if people have the same avatar. If you are bothered then change it. It's not like having the same outfit on the party.
