I had a dream last night wherein I knew that I am dreaming. I tried waking up, but I couldn't. I tried a lot of things to wake myself up, and failed many times, as I always realize that I am still dreaming. Good thing at the end I woke up. Because I was getting desperate. I was really freaked out. I still am. Have you ever had a dream like this? What did you do?

Really? I guess that's why it happened to me. I'm really stressed out right now, not to mention lacks sleep. What do you usually do to wake yourself up? Any suggestions? I'm really scared this might happen again. In effect, I'm lacking more sleep now, because I'm afraid to sleep. hehe.

That's a really strange dream to have! Most dreams feel so real you don't realise they're a dream till you wake up. Like last night I dreamt that I was really adopted and I was really freaked out about it and still wasn't sure whether it was true as I was gradually waking up. I can't remember ever having a dream like that, but I might have. It'd be scary I guess while you're dreaming, but what can you do? We always do wake up in the end(thank God) so having that in mind might help, knowing that no matter what you do you will eventually wake up. Although in my experience, while you're dreaming you really don't have very much control over your actions, or what happens, it just happens; scary, fun, whatever... What do you reckon?

I've read in a site that there are people who gets to control their dreams, but only after they realize that it is actually a dream they're having. It's what they call a lucid dream. And there are people who wants to have lucid dreams, I don't know why, because it freaks me out. Last night was really scary. I hope I'll never had something like that again. Thank you for responding to this discussion. May you have sweet dreams always!
