What is a Freak?

just out of curiousity....for those here who are NON-FREAKS..in all honesty, what would a person have to be like for you to consider them a "Freak?" Is it how they look? How they act? Their hobbies maybe? and also..When you see a person you classify as a Freak do you wide circle them (meaning avoid them), do they scare you or intimidate you? Do you think that maybe they are dangerous etc etc?
Just wondering :-D

Well, I'm considered to be a "freak" but I still get along pretty well with other people.
I think people are being labeled "freaks" if they differ too much from other people. Not necessarily in looks, it could be just some banal stuff like music and opinions. You like to see grass grow, they don't and voilá! You're a "freak".
I never avoid "freaks" because I don't "sort" people out by their social status or anything else. People are people and we were all born equal. Sadly, it isn't possible for most of the society to think the same and we, wanted it or not, end up being sorted into group. Being yourself too much gets you alienated and ignored, which takes away the confidence of other people to be themselves too.
It's a cruel world.

A freak is someone that acts weird or strange.They don't have to be dangerous or scary to be a freak.

Hello Ravenladyj,First of all wishing you a Happy belated Newyear.According to me every individual in this earth are
freak in someway or the other starting from some religious devotee he/she can have freaky attitude and can behave or talk eccentrically, some concert music lovers/ soccer and sports fans acts fanatically during the show, in relationships too people sometimes talks and behaves like a maniac .Imean to say that every humanbeing on earth shows their freaky attitude in someway or the other,and thats why no one is perfect. But the main point is the freaky nature of humanbeings are of two kinds, the firstone is harmless and the later harmful that effects others.I always try to keep a distance whom I consider harmful freaks as as they forget that someone innocent can suffer seriously due to their freaky act.Thanks

In my book anyone who eats french fries with mustard or mayonase... is a FrEaK!!! :D

Hi ravenlady! I haven't been here for a while and wanted to say HI to ya and hope your holidays were great!
I laughed at your discussion here because most people around here think I am a freak yet I disagree. LOL So for me to say what I think is a freak, people around here would think is strange because they would answer me.
For me I think a freak is someone who isn't like most people around them whether it is looks attitude or lifestyle. I would not be afraid of them as I think they would be unique and interesting.
