How about Rocky Mountain Oysters? Chitlins? Or tripe? I've lived in a lot of places and have had the chance to eat many local delicacies. Btw scrapple is a sausagelike loaf of meat made from pork scraps(we joke its all the parts that fall off the butcher's block) and spices and cornmeal that you fry up and usually eat with breakfast. Rocky Mountain oysters are deep fried bull balls. Chitlins are pig intestings boiled then fried and tripe is cow stomach prepared a number of ways. I've eatin them all and more and probably would eat all of them again except the oysters(did it on a dare). Got any unusual foods you are partial to?

I know what scrapple is. We eat it quite a lot at my house because my grandfather likes getting it and fixing it, and I must say, I'm rather found of it myself. I like it, doesn't really bother me whats in it. It tastes good, there's nothing bad in there, just stuff that can be eaten. So no big deal to me.

I grew up in farm country and my grandmother used to make scrapple all the time. Her's was made from the beef, pork or chicken. he would boil up the bones and take the meat off then add cornmeal to the broth. It was always good fried. Now I know what Mountian oysters are because of my grandfather taking them from the young bulls, but never wanted to eat them. Chiltens and tripe were not something I would even think about eating though they are popular where I live now. I loved pickled pigs feet when I was younger too. I have sometimes made my own too.
