Yes I do vote and honestly think there is no reason not too. Last year I even ran a poll booth, the only bad thing about that was that our machines went down 3 times and we couldnt get a tech out there to fix it. So we had to switch to paper ballots which we really werent trained to use. Later all of the paper ballots we got werent counted because they were missing a mark on the paper. and to make matters worse this happened all over austin texas which is a pretty liberal city compared to the rest of texas i can only guess the other places voting machines went down too. :(

I don't vote. I live in a town over run with Democrats and I am registered Republican. There is always people outside of the voting booths proclaiming why the democratic candidate deserves to win. But half the time when it comes time for an election I hate both candidates to the point of not being able to pick the lesser of two evils and just stay at home.

We expect that our general election will be quite near. I consider politics as part of my social life and can’t do without politics though we do not take active part in it. It is the duty of a citizen to vote to select our government. This is the way of a democratic country.

I should as in my country we are obliged to - in case one misses too many elections it will stain its record and make live more difficult. As I life abroad I cannot vote and that's okay for them ... go figure.

I vote, most often my candidate doesn't win but still I vote. Usually people who are against people who are probably going to win never go to vote but or me that's wrong because then their candidate doesn't get any votes at all.

It seems that I have made a big mistake and I am so sorry for that. Last night was my first time to visit mylot and at that time I was too sleepy to see your personal information, but I am so glad to meet you here. You Korean are our friend and neighbour, in most respects we have common languages. One thing that worries me is my English is not so good. But I am still very happy see your reply and hope to make good friends with you. ni hao too, ha ha.
