Cell phone while driving - they may as well be drunk while talking and trying to drive at the same time. Taxi's from where I am from is a freekin nightmare - they do not adhear to driving regulations - and the cops don't do much about it either.

I think drunk drivers are the worst. I think aggresive drivers and the drivers that whip in and out of traffic are the second worst.

Emoticons or smileys - An Emoticon (or Smiley) is a sequence of ordinary characters you can find on your computer keyboard. Emoticons are used in e-mail, chat, SMS and other forms of communication using computers. The most popular emoticons are the smiling faces (smileys or smilies) that people use to say "don't take what I just wrote too seriously". If you don't see that it represents a smiling face, tip your head to the left and look at it again. The colon represents the eyes, the dash represents the nose, and the right parenthesis represent the mouth.
I thinke so, and I cant understand why these people dont care either the other's life or his own.

I was once told that talking on the phone while driving was illegal, then I noticed that most of the cops do it. They had a survey and found that those talking on the phone are the same or worse than a drunk driver!

I hate when a person just jumps in their car and doesn't look when they back up.. i hate people that cut me off, and really hate when someone is driving 5 mph because they are on their cell phone.

I think it's more of the city drivers than outright CA. drivers, but I will admit I don't like driving in some areas when I come bk home.

I sometimes agree about the old, and after a few deaths CA. made it mandatory for older people to come in for eye exams and etc. to renew their lic. but if you don't mind, where do you live where the blacks drive different than everyone else?

Old people I have heard can be a little bad at driving because of their eyes. I have never heard anything about the other. I believe all race can be bad drivers at times. Doesn't matter what color you are. You sure need to rethink on things before you go and try to point the figure at anyone.

I don't know, I think anyone from a major city needs to take a deep breath before driving. When I drive my truck I tend to look at the lic. plates, I notice those from coountry states, and lic. plate frames from rural areas tend not to jump there cars in front of trucks and then put their brakes on.

I think drunk drivers and the worst, they have no control, but cell phone users are pretty bad too. Generally, those who DO NOT PAY ATTENTION to their driving, for whatever reason, cause many of the problems on the road. (like the lady applying MAKEUP, or the man READING A BOOK?, text messaging?)

The scary part is that they don't want to buy the different equipment available so they can drive safely, and most of it is free.

I don't know, I think what makes some women bad drivers is that they get so nervous they actually start driving bad instead of defensive, which can happen to everybody. This situation gets worse when people harass them instead of trying to help them.

Ok now, Deeeep Breath. I think I understand where your comming from, but not all are that way, and we must think of are parents being like that possibly. But in California, due to some of their accidents and killing people, they no longer renew older persons licenses through the mail.

Now that was a little harsh. Not all old people are like that. Actually, I have never met an old stupid person. That is just really childish to say. And you wonder why we have road rage?

both you mention are bad but what if they were combined? I also have a problem with men trying to eat big fat burgers while driving too. No wonder there are so many accidents

I sum it up into one common military phrase. " Pay Attention to Detail", no matter how you apply it, if you are paying attention you will moderate and pay attention to your driving.

They have actually said that those on cell phones are the worst. I really trip off of those changing lanes and they are blocking their vision with their hand talking on the phone. Does anyone know how they see oncomming traffic?

@Sailor (1160)

yes, and the underaged need 2 put some peer pressure on each other so that the good drivers don't catch the pressure of the bad.

in CA. they used to allow them to renew their lic. by mail, until there were to many deaths by older people hitting people. now they have to have their eyes checked and stuff.

It is hard to believe how bad people drive when they are on their cell phones. Usually if someone is driving weird, swerving or slowly in the fast lane and we pass them and see they are on a cell phone, we laugh about how terrible people are at driving on the phone. It's like that explains everything. We don't have cell phones. When we lived in San Jose, there was really bad traffic and people were bad drivers, causing accidents daily on the freeways.

Yes, I make deliveries to Northern CA all the time and I hate the traffice out there. I know exactly what your talking about. I really hate those that get attitudes because you passed them.

I agree, but I am one of those people where I don't care what they do in their car/vehicle, as long as they are paying attention to the road, handling their business, and not driving 25 in a 65/70 zone.
