Woke up the past few days with very foggy weather due to the warm air and the snow on the ground. This makes for some slippery roads etc. But, it also makes for some great looking scenery as well. I tried to get a really good shot of this christmas light on the rail of my deck but it was really cold & I was in my jammies as well. Anyhow this is the ice crystals formed on the lights. I thouight it was pretty cool looking. next time I'll dress warmer & hopefully get a shot that's not as fuzzy as this one. Anyhow just wanted to share this was all. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

This creates quite an unusual look. You must get some real strange ice formations with the various structures outside your home. You could almost create a book on ice crystals & their different patterns. I commented on your photo.

Thanks for sharing your photos with all. I always enjoy seeing your photos even if it is from the sewer. LOL Here in CA we get tuly fog so bad we cannot see across the street. Today the fog is not that bad. It is 1 mile visability in some areas of the valley.

i really feel like i'm in a temperate country with all these updates you're sending! Ice crystals are so pretty huh? somehow it's amazing how limestone caves have stalacites and staglamites (?) that are in the same types of shape. I guess it's the wonder of nature and God's creation!

I enjoy looking at the pics that you put on here. Though I do have to agree on this one that it is a bit fuzzy. Next time dress a little warmer so you can get a clearer shot. Though the crystals is what you were taking a pic of, it was clear and defined enough to be able to see that.

I played areound for 5 minutes taking different shots etc. I also had just woke up so that's another reason it was fuzzy. HAHAHAHAHA!! It was the crystals that were my main focus but i usually do better editing them etc to get rid of the blurry parts. Oh well I say. HAHAHA! Thanks. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Your pictures are always lovely. E have not had snow here in quite awhile. We did have a bit of frost here this morning, but it has warmed up quite a bit. So, are you like me going outside in short and a t shirt in that kind of weather and then shivering while taking a picture?
