Okay most here know I get a LOT of use out of my Canon PowerShot A 540 digital camera. So I was sitting in the living room watching TV last night burning candles to burn off the smoke from my cigarettes. So I grabbed my camera getting this great shot. What do you think of it? Isn't the depth & angle great? This was taken at nigh scene setting on my camera with no flash. I think the light looks awesome glwoing as it does. The glass hurricane looks like a whole new ring of fire around the candle also. I just wanted to share this photo here was all. Thanks all for putting up with all my photos. Some have been terrible yet I think most that I've posted here are great shots. Thanks again and enjoy the warmth of this candle. Hee hee.

Since I'm responding from email, no pic to view till after posting. Wish my night shots would look good w/o a flash. Maybe if I actually fiddled around with my camera b4 I know I'm going to use it at night, I might be able to. Here is one of the creek-turned-lake in my backyard. My daughter actually wanted to wade out and get the canoe to take it out on the 'lake'. lol

That's part of my pool cover actually. It was pretty windy as well so the cover was billowing up. Your welcome!

Yes, you do get a lot of use out of your digital camera. This is an awesome picture. I like it a lot. I am looking to get a digital camera in the next few months, and hopefully I will be able to add some pics to my discussions as well.

Very cool picture. I would never have been able to guess what it was. I need to use my camera more often. Keep sharing your photos. I love the winter ones the most.

My wife thought it was a shot of the morning sun.
It is eerie looking as well isn't it?

Unless I have a very active imagination or is a throw back to my astronomy days, that photo could almost look like a photo of some galaxy or nebula star system of some kind--it's really beautiful GRANDPA BOB :)

I thought the same thing after seeing this shot. Here's another shot where the edge of the glass is a brighter orange glow. Thanks.

Nice photo with a steady hand. I like it better than the ice crystals. I want a new digital camera I have found one I want but I have to save the money for it. I guess now that I am working I can pay off a few of my credit cards first then I can afford it. Maybe in 4 to 6 months. By then maybe they will be cheaper. LOL

Good picture, I am always looking at things from a different prospective, a photographer's prospective, different angles, lighting or the lack there of, etc. I got a DSLR for Christmas and I am loving it. I used to have a 35mm and develop my own film and pictures, and it's amazing now, the ability to edit your pictures and print them with such ease.
