Okay, car "burgler" alarms, maybe they work maybe they dont' but these alarms for locking and unlocking your car - what a stupid thing! You go and press a button to unlock the car and it gives a couple loud beeps. To lock the car, you press the button and it gives a couple loud beeps. Good grief, don't manufactures think we know what we are doing? Do they think we need reminded that we are locking or unlocking our car door? Seems to me that'd be the only reason for these stupid beeps and squeals. I live in an apartment complex at the parking lot and literally all day long, these loud beeps and squeals go off to the point I my ears ring. And I watched and it is all people just locking and unlocking their car doors! Am I crazy from the beeps or is there an intelligent reason for this annoying procedure? I have the control to just press to lock/unlock, and there is no beep, no squeal. It just locks/unlocks the car door. Why do we need these beeps!??!
