How do you feel about the cancellation of this year's Golden Globes ceremony?

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association said Monday that the traditional Golden Globe Awards ceremony has been canceled and will be replaced with a news conference format. I find it disappointing that the traditional awards ceremony will not take place this year and that millions of viewers worldwide (including me...) will be deprived of seeing many of their favorite stars celebrating 2007’s outstanding achievements in motion pictures and television. Oh well, how about you? How do you feel about it?

I hate that they canceled it. I've always enjoyed watching the Golden Globes. I'm not a big awards show person but I look forward to the Golden Globes and think it's the best awards show. It's neat seeing TV and movie stars all together and there are always some funny and entertaining presentations and acceptance speeches. I wish the writers' strike was resolved and over.

I love seeing the stars convene in this kind of activity. We get to see who is the best and worst dressed which I really love.

I am shocked at first. But later on, I understood everything. That was because of the writers' strike. It just showed that writers play a major role in things like this. They should be given enough credit.
