Talkative co-workers?

I work at Culver's in town. I am 18 and many of my co-workers are in their early teens (14 or 15) but most are 16 or 21 because it's either high school students or college students. The girl I am talking about just turned 21. She is just now going back to college and will be working less but this is still an issue. A lot of people who work with her find her annoying. She talks A LOT, she made it a point to tell someone a story and then continue to tell them this story and follow them all the way to the back of the store before they closed the office door when this person was clearly not interested. I am being prevented from working on Monday's because I'm apparently one of the people she likes to talk at a lot because I try not to be rude and Monday's are the days she works regularly. People talk about her all the time and how she always is talking and not getting her work done and how she is so annoying. I told her that I wanted to work on Monday's so she needed to stop talking to me unless we were both on break or something and she said she'd stop but didn't. What would you do if you had a talkative co-worker like this girl? Do you have one?
