I am sitting here trying to catch up on some mylot discussions and feeling hungry. My husband left some cookies on the coffee table in the lounge and I've been staring at them thinking "should I have just one?" LOL I have 2 hours to kill before I wake up the family so I'm thinking, maybe I'll just have a cup of tea (since I broke my coffee machine GRR) and have a bickie or two. Do you snack during the wee hours of the morning? I usually don't but then again I am not usually up this late and since I have to a plane to catch soon, why not? :)

I snack no matter what time of day it is. I don't usually choose the healthiest snacks either. This morning I woke up with my husband at 6 am, ate a candy bar and went back to bed. Not good, I know.

If I was up at that time, I would eat too. I like to snack when I am on the computer but I try to eat something healthy although right now, I have a sweet tooth and want cookies. Maybe I should raid your coffee table. HA HA!!

I can be bad sometimes with late night snacking. Sometimes I just have to have a snack so I'll eat it. If my stomach starts grumbling, then I know it's time to eat something, even if it's rather small like a piece of toast or something. Sometimes I eat bigger things in the night even though I know I really shouldn't.

My hubby is the worst for eating/snacking at night. Its non stop with cookies, chips, ice cream and or juice, I am forever finding things eaten and finished each morning.

Hello there, as you said: 'I am not usually up this late’, which means this was occasional event for you. So why not just pamper yourself with those lovely cookies as they wouldn’t pile on your weight for one early morning, especially you were hungary anyway.

if I sleep late, like past 12 then I'll definitely snack. I usually feel like really hungry after midnight and if I'm still awake I just have to eat something if not the hunger won't seem to go away! Haha.

Late night is my worst time for snacking. I stay up rather late. I would probably lose more weight if I went to bed earlier. LOL! I will have a no sugar added cookie, but then I will have one of those Nature Valley Sweet and Salty granola bars, and then my Tootsie Rolls and caramels. I really ought to go to bed earlier.

What in the world are you doing up so late or should I say early? What's wrong, are you too excited to sleep? That is such a funny feeling to me. I know that I could crash at any time, yet I don't, until right before it is time for me to get up. You say why not, as if you are going to run along beside the plane on the runway. Are we rationalizing? Why does catching a plane in a little while make it okay to have a cookie? And why do you like to talk about sugary things when you know I have an eternal sweet tooth? He he, LoL. Have a blast and tell us all about it when you get back. P.S. Just go ahead and have the cookie already!!!!

haha as I was typing this discussion I ended up going ahead and eating one cookie then another and then another hahaha. I had a wonderful time and was very thankful that I was able to visit with her and attend her special day. It went by so fast though and I came back with the flu and now I am huddled up on the couch with my duvet and might just put the fire on. Its freezing cold here. Hawaii was overcast and cold for me. The sun did come out some mornings when we were still sleeping haha! I miss her already!

When am up that late and hungry I usually have a one slice peanutbutter sandwich...with a little jelly sometimes. I don't like eating in the middle of the night when I have to go back to sleep but with you going out that would be a quick energy snack too!

yup i do, somehow if we are not sleeping through the night but awake at some point we do start feeling hungry. imagine if we never slept! we'd be eating all the time! anyway, a few cookies isn't much. just take it as an early breakfast.

Well, this could work, but then why not consider having something a little more healthy and would hold you a little better, unless you and your family are planning on eating a little more before you catch your flight. Have a Safe flight, and enjoy your trip.
