Gross

I went to empty the dishwasher because the dishes were clean. I should've emptied it immediately after it finished -- my mistake. Cause when I opened it to start unloading, I notice a handful of DIRTY stuff had just been tossed into it, by my roommate. Now a bunch of the clean dishes have to be rewashed. Apparently it's hard to check whether the dishes are clean or not.

I have had the same thing happen to me. My kids or hubby won't look closely enough and just pop their dirty dishes right in with the clean ones! As crazy and simple as it sounds, they make little magnets that one can put on the front of the dishwasher that say 'clean' and 'dirty.' I bought one and now we all forget to change it to the appropriate side! HA!

Hi beeeckie yes that is gross!LOL Its just my husband and I and right now my dishwasher is broke. But when it was running I would always put my dishes away the next morning. You guys have to come up with a solution or comunication.LOL

Right now it's not so much communication because stuff like this is constant...just another in a long line. It's more on the lines of moving out ASAP :(

seems she or he could have seen this..maybe not..this is a waste of time and water. plus more soap. maybe you guys will put a sign on the machine telling of the status of the machine..empty or to be emptied when done...but most people don't bother to look..just throw the dirty dishes in..good luck..roomates can be a problem
