For your desktop or laptop? I find it more convenient than having one long big wire in one area and to just stay in one spot all the time. Why not just go around the room with your wireless router on which gives more space than to be crowded in a room that might be noisy. Another advantage too is using it in places for reserved cabins, or a coffee shop, airport or any other place as well. Right now I'm using a Wireless G connection on mine. Eventually I plan to upgrade to the Wireless N connection which I've heard is more sufficient and faster than the older 802.11 connections.

well i am using a linksys wireless g for my laptop connection.. i am also planning to upgrade my router to wireless n as it is has faster transfer rate and you can connect directly a usb external hard disk to the router.. last night i asked for prices of linksys and apple models.. i think i'll just get the linksys brand since i am already familiar with its configuration..

i am living in a house with a wireless internet connection. i find it convenient and easy. i could work on my bed, on the center table of the living room while watching TV, and i could show pictures and videos to my friends online while i move around. however, it comes with a price, but it is worth it.
