i found this site by chance, it is www.videocopilot.com and has video tutorials and project files for you to download and try yourself.
the question is do you think you could make a movie from these tutorials yourself, in a rather self taught manner?

Most of the projects I've created I learned it from here. there are so many tricks I learned from Andrew Kramer.
I recommend to MyLoters who like animation (after Effect) to visit this site.
