What are your experiences with Champix?

I recently tried to give up smoking, due to my illness cfs and fibromyalgia my doctor was hesitant to put me on Champix but eventually did. Firstly i felt very sick but i understood this to be a well known side effect so put up with it and plodded on, as some of you will know you continue smoking for at least the first week of being on them and then you decide a stop date. Well i did stop smoking for a while but the cravings were still there to want to smoke, admittedly you smoke less because you feel sick but i still had the need for a ciggarette. Anyway after three weeks of being on these tablets i experienced numbness in my hands and felt so ill that my gp took me off of them. I am still smoking but have cut down dramatically. What have been your experiences on them?
