Help End World Hunger and Improve Vocabulary!

Just saw this on the news! For each correct definition you choose the advertising companies donate rice thru the United Nations to help end world hunger! Totally non-profit, fun and great for those JUST LEARNING ENGLISH! each correct answer donates 20 grains..which doesnt seem like much, but it does add up and if everybody just does it for 1/2hr or so thats a lot of rice! and every little bit helps right?! www.freerice.com

Sounds like fun. I'm game if it is for real. I have a hell of a vocabulary I should get a bit of food donated!! I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the info! Shalom~Adoniah

I did over 4,500 grains of rice but I will go again. It is bed time!

Thanks for Best Response Cinder, I am still doing the grains of rice in my spare time. I lost count a long time ago. I enjoy the vocabulary challenge though and it is fun to be doing something good at the same time. Good Post. Hi Cinder. What a great way to donate food! I am currently up to 1200 grains of rice donated, but will try to get a few more in before I go to bed. I have also bookmarked this site so I can go back to it later. Thanks for the link. :)
