how do you feel when you are in the middle of typing, or doing something very important on your pc and all of a sudden, bummmmp, it crashes without notice or options for backing up or saving your work. it is always fustrating for me and makes me leave the PC for some hours be i get back to it.

When i was a windows user i used to have the computer crash a good bit, my usual reaction was, want to take the mouse and smack it off the screen, but instead i'd take a deep breath, hit the reset button, then curse at microsoft for makin such a joke of an operatin system, but since i change to linux a few months back i havn't had one crash, and it feels good!

I tend to scream and sometimes chuck the mouse across the room. Once I got so annoyed that I literally smashed my mouse on the desk. I got a new mouse and it's brilliant! On the down side it wasn't the mouse I was having trouble with.....Oh well - you live and learn....?

I immediately fix it. I concentrate and focus on the problem. Think of possible solutions and find the best answer for the cause of the crash. It can be hardware or software. If hardware, that's really bad.

I hate it and i think everyone else does. I usto have a huge problem with my computer crashing and i couldn't figure out why. Now i got that problem fixed, reinstalled windows and everything is good. Now it almost never crashes, which is amazing.

It is good for you that you can leave the computer for a few hours when it crashes. I'm trying desperatly to fix it and then, if it can't be fixed by my own effort, I make up my mind to call a technician. It is so frustrating, I can't sleep at night when my computer crashes. So, you're doing the right thing when you stay away from the computer for a few hours. I'm getting obessed, and I can't always help about a computer crash.
