Patriots and an Undefeated Season

I have never liked the Patriots, even before they went on this "Dynasty" run. I'm a die hard Dolphins fan and have been since I first started watching the NFL so basically any team in the AFC East that isn't Miami, I don't like. However, I must say that it's been a very impressive season for the Patriots, and boy are they fun to watch? They will always be remembered as the first team to be undefeated during a 16 game season since when the Dolphins did it in '72 they only played 14 games. But I think it will not be a great season if they don't atleast win this weekend, because in 1972, Miami finished with the super bowl win at a record of 17-0. So first of all if the Patriots don't hit that 17 win mark then how can you classify it as the best season? And two, despite playing less games back then, the Dolphins did win the Super Bowl so if the Pats don't win it all then it will not be a big deal in my eyes.

Don't worry, they'll lose tomorrow!

It won't be forgotten, winning or losing the Super Bowl. If any team can defeat them will have much credit for it and can cast a shadow on them. The 16-0 is just a result of how well they played a team like that is not easily forgotten.

I'm not so sure about that. I however have a different view. If they win the Super Bowl, good for them but to be honest, I really don't see them losing one game as something to hurt them in the end. I'm really not going to say oh this means nothing. To me, this is something that won't happen for a long time so I say you can celebrate it if you choose to. The other view is the infamous spygate, which also is apart of it right or wrong. I don't think a loss will hinder this team. Maybe the media will go nuts but I personally won't.

I think the patriots are gonna finish off this season perfect.
